We, from our experience, cannot guarantee aluminium pistons, without pistons knocks. We know, from experience, that the majority of the R.R. customers will not tolerate knocks, so it appears to be up to us to experiment and then find out whether it is by any means possible to obtain an aluminium piston which will not knock and if this cannot be done to let the official who have to sell the cars know what to expect and to get their agreement.
