I am convinced that it is necessary to give all the valves ample oil supply. I find it difficult to believe that oil did any harm with our arrangements of valve guides and glands. We feel sure that it is necessary to supply oil to all the valves by creeping along rocker bushes. (It is wrong to try to get squirts at full lift. We have always condemned this as not practical or desirable).

It is not valve stem clearance, because it was cured by hand oiling.

12-G-4 clutch shudders badly. It was not cured by clipping it. Do you recommend oiling, and can you do so?
