Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} SUMMARY. -4- RmG/R.19.11.36. want to be certain, as far as possible, that we are going in the right direction. We shall not hold up the Bentley and the P.III any longer, and forthwith are building up the respective units with the best we know of. We anticipate they will be ready to start the test in about a month's time. We should not be surprised if we had to run two or three more Continental tests before we can finalise on bearings. Our views at the moment are:- RR.56 big ends; improved white metal mains, and better crank- shaft oil distribution. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
