In the meantime, castings of both types (6 cyl. and 8 cyl.) are being produced to the existing design, but with a main bore of 1.500 so that we can get a figure for max. power in advance of the new design.

The induction pipe fitted to B.80 No.5. to go to France, is a large bore pipe, but has the best water hot spot available at the present time, which is the more important point. Also, the type of running in this test, will not suffer by the low speed building up trouble.
