contd :- -2- We understand from your Mr. Mantell that you anticipate being able to make certain modifications to the carburetter which will enable us to use 34 mm. chokes, without any loss in snap acceleration. We presume that the somewhat high petrol consumption we are getting is partially due to the carburetter being set over rich to compensate for the weak range at 35 m.p.h. and that your modifications will probably enable us to improve upon this figure. We should be glad to hear from you when you have the new carburetters ready. The engine speed of the car upon which your carburetter was tested is 1000 r.p.m. at 28.7 m.p.h. Yours faithfully, | ||
