To PN.{Mr Northey} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/AD4.11.31.

We hear from Mr. Callingham today that we should be able to get a flying 1/2 mile on Brooklands without any difficulty on Friday. We therefore propose to meet you there at 11-0 a.m. so that we can check the speed of 18-GIV over the 1/2 mile before bringing the car on to Conduit St.{Capt. P. R. Strong}

We do not know whether you have any non-subframe trials cars about, but if so it might be useful if you could come to Brooklands in one as we are very interested in getting an average comparison as to how they behave for booming and jellying.

If, for any reason, you are unable to meet us at Brooklands at the specified time, will you please wire ElmsteadHenry Royce's home in West Wittering, West WitteringHenry Royce's home town on Friday, and if for any reason we alter our plans we will let you know.
