We have carefully considered the whole matter as to whether there is anything we can do to silence standard machines of a simpler nature than the modification, and we have to admit that we cannot arrive at any method. We think, therefore, this machine should be modified and passed to production in the same way in which others are being done. As we have made an expl. modification to the poles of this machine, new pole pieces will be required. EFC. | ||
