If they do not have cocoa nut matting on the floor, occupants of front seats suffer very badly from engine heat in hot or even warm weather. It seems to me that we might fit complete foot boards to all chassis & that these might be made hollow of two sets of three-ply boards with an air space between. Also this heat question should be considered in design of new engine. Could not engine chamber be entirely isolated from rest of chassis. The fact is we have not overcome the heat difficulty.
