Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
Derby.

For the attention of Mr. Clapham.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 24th of January on the subject of spring interleaving and regret our delay in replying. Unfortunately this factory has been isolated for several days and that portion of it in which spring interleaving material will have to be made, is closed down for lack of fuel and power. We expect this position to be remedied within the next three or four days and then we will comply with your request and send you sets built up as you describe.

In the meantime we shall have time to hear from you concerning the thickness of the interleaving, which dimension your letter does not specify; or shall we assume that it will be the same as the other experimental interleaving material supplied to you some months ago i.e. .080" ?

Yours faithfully,

FERODO LIMITED
