Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LG7.11.24 in which you kindly gave the weights of the complete car - May we ask if you would be so good as to let us know the weight of the tie-rods and their fixings which were fitted to the chassis at Messrs. Barkers' Works after the chassis had been delivered. The reason we are troubling you is that we have the weights of the complete chassis and accessories which were taken before the tie-rods were fitted to the chassis. The weight you give of the complete car no doubt includes the weight of the tie-rods, so that unless we know the weight of these we cannot arrive at the weight of the coachwork. H.O. H.O. | ||
