Re Phantom & Wraith Engines - E.R.Hall.
Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/ET8.10.41

The first I heard about this matter was fairly recently (the beginning of September) and on calling for the correspondence I find that this took place between the Metropolis Garage, Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} and yourself.

On receipt of this Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} advised the Metropolis Garage that the Company were prepared to purchase the engines from Mr.Hall at the prices he paid for them provided the condition of them was satisfactory.

From this I naturally concluded that it had been settled that we should take the Phantom engine back so long as he agreed to accept the price he paid for it.

However, Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} thinks that the Phantom III engine might be
