X3461 re. Fitting of Rear Shock Absorbers to Mr. Fisher's Car - 46-RE.

As you will see from the signed order No. 4081, dated 13.9.21, with regard to which you have issued White Card No. 16211, We have this car in our hands for attention.

In connection with this, we attach herewith for the Complaint File a copy of PN {Mr Northey} 's memo reference PN {Mr Northey} 1/H13.9.21.

It has been agreed between Mr. Northey and Mr. Hives that rear shock absorbers shall be fitted to this car. We shall be glad therefore if you will arrange for the price of supplying and fitting these to be forwarded to Sales Dept. referring to PN {Mr Northey} 's memo PN {Mr Northey} 1/H13.9.21. as soon as possible.

As this is an experimental job, will Mr. Rodman please obtain the necessary details regarding the fitting of these from Mr. Hives, advising us of the time allowances given, so that we can see that these are worked to when carrying out the job.

As this is going to be a big and expensive job, we should be glad if Mr. Rodman could get on with this matter at once, as apart from the supplying and fitting of the necessary parts, it will mean alterations to the body-work, luggage carrier etc. We suggest therefore that Mr. Rodman obtains from Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} the details of the parts required and the time for fitting. If Mr. Rodman will advise us when he can go into the matter, we will get Messrs. Sanderson, the Coachbuilders, along, so that they can supply us with an estimate for the body work alterations.
