Date 1 September 1920 FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR. HIVES - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Dear Sirs, We confirm telephone conversation with you this afternoon in reference to our letter of the 23rd ult., drawing your attention to the claim advertised by Messrs. S. Smith & Sons Ltd., that the K.L.G plug "has been adopted for all post-war Rolls Royce motor cars". We thank you for your assurance that all Rolls Royce cars leaving your works are fitted with Lodge plugs. We are, however, naturally anxious to be perfectly sure of our ground before taking up the matter with Messrs. Smith & Sons, and we should be glad, therefore, if you would kindly let us know whether we are correct in assuming that there is no present intention to change from Lodge plugs as the standard fitting on Rolls Royce cars and that K.L.G plugs have not been adopted or ordered for that purpose in the future. Regretting the necessity for troubling you further, P.T.O. | ||
