Apart from this, we should, of course, be very pleased for him to come over and discuss gear manufacture any time, as we do believe that, expensive though our methods are, we make a gear which is second to none for silence and durability.

You will be intrigued to know that I challenged Taub to produce figures showing the side valve engine was inferior to the overhead valve, from this year's Proving Ground figures. I attach a copy of the information he sent me. I think he feels this proves that the side valve engine is really no good but the people who made the tests were not told about this.
