RR 238 (150 BKS.) (SH57-29-6-20.) MP 224358 X. 3445 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Y. C. Date 2 - 6 - 1924 Order No. W. A 36 Customer's No. X3445 Coil No 3111 Ex chassis 61HO (Osborne) This coil was placed on the rig but failed to give a H.T. spark at all. It was also noticed that primary current was abnormal being 1.78 amperes (production limit 1.0 ampere). The secondary milliamps were also high being 20 at 205V (AC). From the above observations it is therefore considered that the fault is due to a partially short-circuited primary winding. Signed H.E.W. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
