On the latest EAC.111 Axle with the parts arranged so that 36° steering lock is obtained in either direction, the turning circles obtained on the road were as follows :-

Left hand 47' 6"
Right hand 48'

This is with the long type chassis.

On the present standard long chassis, the minimum turning circle which can be obtained is -

Right hand 51'
Left hand 45'
