Attached is a copy of a letter from Armstrong which is self-explanatory.
We have spent an enormous sum of money getting this car put right and it seems to me to be a great pity if we cannot collect some insurance for it if, as the attached letter surmises, the thing has been destroyed through enemy action!
Will you please see if anything can be done about it.
