Fill, and Forget Frost! RAD DIRECTIONS FOR USE. THERE is only one precaution necessary, that is to make sure your cooling system is tight. Obviously no anti-freeze can protect your car if it is allowed to leak out, so make sure that your hose connections, gaskets, and pump packing are absolutely tight and that there are no small leaks. Draw off from the filled radiator about one gallon of water and replace with the contents of the tin of RAD. The only further attention required during the whole winter will be to add from time to time sufficient water to cover evaporation losses. Only the water boils away; the RAD remains. For large cars, e.g., over 15 h.p., draw off two gallons of water and use two tins of RAD. PRICE : 1 Tin (CARRIAGE PAID, CASH WITH ORDER) 12s. 6d. 2 Tins (REQUIRED FOR LARGE CARS) ... 24s. 0d.
