In ours Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} 1/NJ28.11.22 we gave you the Chloride Co's charges for replacing parts damaged in transit, as follows:-

New Ebonite Box 5.3d.net.
Two Single Positive Plates 7d.each

We are now in receipt of a letter from the Chloride Co. dated 28th ult. as follows:-

"We duly received the BXE.5 cells minus ebonite box which you sent us ex the above chassis. The plates, both positive and negative, are beyond repair, and the only part which can be used again is the ebonite lid. {A. J. Lidsey}

"We propose to supply a new cell, and the price making allowance for the lid {A. J. Lidsey} will be 17/6 nett, delivered fully charged.

"We shall be glad to receive your definite instructions."

Will you please let me know at once whether we may send an order to makers for repairs at the charge mentioned.
