PHANTOM III. STANDARDISATION of PARTS
Description of Parts. BRAKE DRUMS IN R.R. CYLINDER IRON INSTEAD OF MILLERITE.
Origin. To reduce cost.
Report of Experimental Test.
4 Drums have been running in France on 32-KT. They have done 10,000 miles and are in excellent condition. The braking on this car has been very powerful.
We are standardising these drums in conjunction with Ferodo S.5805.

COSTS:
Cost of Old Part: Labour - Bought outside, Total - £5 7s 8d
Cost of New Part: Material - £1 0s 8d, Labour - 18s 6d, Charges - £2 6s 3d, Total - £4 5s 5d
Nett Decrease: £1 2s 3d
