XL4342 R THE ROTAX MOTOR ACCESSORIES CO. LTD., ROTAX WORKS, WILLENDEN JUNCTION, LONDON, N.W.10. AGB/BH Da {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} 10/CB19-4-21. April 20th 1921. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Nightingale Road, Derby. X4342 R Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of your letter of the 18th inst., and in reply would advise you that we have been over your drawing No.839 and we think our M.T.1 L machine would be quite suitable. There will be no difficulty in adopting the type of end cover and armature shaft shewn on your drawing. We shall, however, be obliged if you will advise us as to the bore and stroke of this engine or the actual torque in foot lbs. required to turn it so that we may be perfectly sure that the starter is powerful enough. The writer will be passing through Derby on Friday morning next and will take the opportunity of calling upon you. Assuring you of our best attention at all times. Yours faithfully, THE ROTAX MOTOR ACCESSORIES CO.LTD. (Sgd) A.G. Benstead. For the Liquidator. | ||
