VII Ignition. They too have been making Coil studies with the Neon lamp Oscillograph. They consider they might possibly make a single 12 volt Coil fire 5 times per rev but would prefer two Coils. They would not attempt it with 6 volt coils. They think we have a big advantage over them having 12 volt coils. They know nothing of the vibrator Coil, it is Kenningtons invention in England. I have their latest distributor for V twelve with parts to adapt to 100° angle, also starter motor. They gave me these also two 12 volt Coils. As all their work has been done on 6 volt coils they are not too proud of these samples. Mr Dawson, their Chief engineer, is interested in the signalling devices on the Bentley. Could you arrange to send him a complete set, including any variations of switches available, right-away. They have given me at least £15 worth of stuff so I should like to reciprocate. His address is Delco Remy Engineering Dept- Anderson Indiana. | ||
