S/W To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Bearings on Bentley Chassis. I do not know whether you received my Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}3/E7.9.36 of which I enclose a copy but I should be glad to have a reply. I have received a further communication from Paris giving details of the type of bearings fitted to all the different chassis. From this you will see that there are about 30. 4.5-litre chassis over there but I do not know how many of these have the original type Hall bearings. PS. The numbers of the two chassis previously referred to were B.66-EF and B.131.DK. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Enc. Copy of Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}3/E7.9.36 Copy of Sr2/Crn.9.9.36 | ||
