RR 238 (150 BKS.) (DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 451-8-12-24) MP 306975 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To: Cont'd Order No. Customer's No. 19 resistance on the coil is totally enclosed it is very unlikely that this had any bad effects on the contacts, and to it being cooled by a strong draught. Rotor Blade & Distributor Segments The segments and rotor blade are made of brass & nickel respectively. This combination of metals we found previously to give a small rate of wear. Both the rotor blade and segments were in good condition. Rubbing Blocks The rubbing blocks appear to be made of bakelised cloth, the grain of the material lies parallel to the cut. We found on a similar test with a Peregrine distributor that the cam had to be lubricated more frequently if the grain was parallel to the cut than if the grain lay at right angles to the cut. In this case Signed: Cont'd This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
