To Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/GEA. from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL. KISMET TYRE PUMP. The latest type Kismet Junior tyre pump (Model AM/5236) has the following dimensions and performance as compared with the present Nesthill Compact pump which is now part of our standard equipment. Make. | Strokes to inflate 33 X 6.75" tyre to 45 lbs/sq.in. | Max. height (folded). | Max. length (folded). | Max. width (folded). | lbs.ozs. Weight. Nesthill Compact. | 525 | 2.50" | 16.5" | 4.0" | 7 12 Kismet. | 650 | 3.25" | 14.8" | 3.6" | 7 8 Unless the price of the Kismet pump is substantially less than the Nesthill Compact pump, we are not justified in discarding the one for the other. The height of the pump is the most important dimension (within limits) to be considered when the pump is to be carried on a car - the Nesthill pump is superior in this respect and also its efficiency is definitely higher. This model Kismet pump is a decided improvement upon the old Kismet model in every way, but even so it is not as useful an accessory as the Nesthill Compact pump.
