Mr Royce complains that he has not seen either the Daimler or the Napier chassis which have been in our works for some time. Will you please, therefore, arrange to let Mr Royce see one of these cars some time this week and the other as early as possible afterwards.
He also points out that he has not yet had an opportunity of inspecting the new type trussing of our frame. As you have explained, we have not had an experimental car fitted up in this way which we could send to him.
We should, within the next 10 to 14 days, send to him a new car which is now being built fitted with grasshopper springs and the new type pivots for these springs, or, a new test car with the trusses only. He also wishes you to press forward with all speed with the frame.
This sheet must be filed with the correspondence to which it refers.
