Bentley / Mr Barrington} WERE PRESENT Extra Cylinder Lubrication Arrangement. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 16281 E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 1280. The Production Department find that the piece No: E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 1280 can be used for all cylinders, and there is no need for piece No: E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 16282. This latter will therefore be cancelled. Pressure Feed Pump. Gudgeon Pin Rivet. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 5210. The Works find that in rivetting this part the stem buckle. It was agreed to form the centre of the stem into a supporting collar, to avoid this. Mr. Swift will report at the next meeting at what point this modification can be brought in. Front Cover and Guide for Actuating Shaft. C. 2478. It is proposed to alter the form of the cover to provide the extra clearance required for the dynamo drive that is required. This form is in fact that originally intended in the Drawing Office but owing to an error in pattern making, has existed for many years. Mr. Swift will report at the next Meeting at what point this alteration can be brought in without scrap. Base Plate and Bracket for [handwritten: Self Starting Motor] Dynamo Suspension. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 13834 & E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 13835. In accordance with Mr. Elliott's suggestion .200" will be removed from the top of the Base Plate in order to raise the dynamo, and give additional clearance to the undershield.
