WIRING AND FITTINGS. SEC. 7360.
RE STANDARDISATION OF LARGER BATTERY, VIZ. CHLORIDE 6XR5 AND LARGER STARTER MOTOR CABLE.
------------

Kindly note, it has been decided that the new Chloride Battery which it is proposed to standardise, must have exactly the same terminals as all the Chloride batteries we have fitted up to the present.

It is also necessary that the P & R Battery which it is proposed to standardise at the same time should have exactly the same battery terminals F.7588/9 and the battery cables will then be suitable for either type of battery.

With reference to the proposed new cable, viz. 19/7/25's - on looking into the matter, we find that the use of this cable necessitates new Conduits F.7914 on the 3rd cross member, and new brackets for same F.7915/6/7. Also, new clips F.7989 and F.7909. All other wiring tubes, etc., will take the new cable without modification.

The foregoing are the only modifications necessary for the above improvement of the cables and batteries.
