Dear Leslie, With reference to your query as to the present value of your car. I attach herewith a price list of second-hand 4¼ litre Bentleys that are at present being offered for sale by Jack Barclay in London. You can take it from me that there will be about £150 difference between the buying and selling price of such a car to-day. Personally however, I should not think of selling your car at the present moment if you have storage space for it. At the end of the last war, the price of Rolls-Royce cars soared to an unprecedented extent. In spite of the fact that we produced some armoured cars and therefore our production is not altogether stopped, it took us many months before we turned out any chassis when the war was finished. I think the same thing will happen after this war. Yours sincerely, | ||
