We believe that your sketch of this insulator on EFC7/T19818 refers to the twisted form of flex. When fitting an insulator, one would untwist the coils and insert the flanged piece secured by the long wood screw. The flex would be pulled tight so that the conductors were as close to the central guide as possible, while the flange of the central piece must be sufficiently stiff to withstand bending moment. The loop adjustment for height for the lamps is quite good enough, and we should use some cardboard shades. Perhaps you can get some shades of suitable size. Mr. Royce would prefer that we used half the current. that you have named, so that our lamps should be .5 amps. 12 volts 12 c.p. Main conductors must be suitable for carrying a current of, say, 2 1/2 to 3 amps., in case other lights should be added later on. Would you kindly collect this material together, namely, lamps, conductors, simplex tubing, switches, insulators, and fuse boxes.
