27th June 1910 C.J. 24/6/10 R27/D27610 x 407 With reference to the purchase of a Mercedes car, I think we might send Platford to have a look at these and possibly buy the larger one (35/40 H.P.) first. At any rate he might see which he considers would be the most useful to us. I think the smaller Mercedes (25/30 H.P.) because of the smallness of the size and the arrangement of the valves which is fairly well known to us, would not be of much use. I think for the second car I would not have a Mercedes at all but one of some other make. I also have the impression that you are hoping we shall get a Renault in exchange. F.H.R. | ||
