Strombergs', Zeniths', and Claudels'.

Talking with Mr. Penn of the R.A.E. at Farnborough who deals with the engine work, he says that excellent results have been obtained from the Claudel aero carburetter since incorporating an accelerating pump. The diffuser has been developed purely to give a flat metering curve, which is normally poor for accelerating, and the pump looks after the 'snap' opening and acceleration.

Returning again to the car work, we are of the opinion that some form of accelerating device is required which gives a positive priming into the air stream when the throttle is suddenly opened.

We should be pleased if you would kindly return the Stromberg Manual when you have finished with it.
