1280 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.6/MH.{M. Huckerby} Messrs. Ellison Insulations Ltd., Perry Bar, Birmingham, 20. 3rd. November 1937. For the attention of Mr.H.E.J.Reynolds. Dear Sirs, Referring to your letter of Nov. 1st. we have not yet received the same plug mentioned therein, but will be interested to examine same when it arrives. We gather from your letter that you cannot use the metal spinning (supplied to you by us) for a mould in order to make an experimental cap, but would have to make a special mould for the purpose. At the moment this filler cap scheme is only experimental and is far from a production one. However, we would be interested to receive a quotation (with separate mould charge) for supplying these caps in - (1) lots of 200 (2) lots of 400 (3) lots of 600. Will you please return the sample metallic spinning sent to you. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
