To DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} } FROM R+ LE CANADELHenry Royce's French residence. c. to CJ. BJ. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to RG.{Mr Rowledge} X8460 R3/M27.2.26. REAR PETROL TANK COMBINED X.8460 BY CARRIER AND GUARD. X.3701 The large filler and other features of the above on the car here are a great improvement, both in efficiency and appearance, and I have pressed for early standardisation. I have written at greater length previously, and it is a matter of some importance because of the difficulty of filling, and also the blocked outgoing filter. The reserve compartment is also so useful. I am in hopes that stocks are kept low, and also that it is on the next 10,000 miles car which is due out here early in March. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
