E.N.V. Gearbox in 20/25.

With reference to this gearbox, it now appears that Messrs. E.N.V. much prefer that we retain our engine clutch and we have therefore prepared N. Sch's 3910 and 3917 which show how we propose to do this.

We may ultimately use servo actuation but to get the experiment going we propose manual operation to commence with.

There is a slight modification to the first motion shaft of the gearbox and the universal spider on this shaft is different from before.

There is also a new lever to be provided on the gearbox which we suggest should be made from an existing RR. stamping.

The position of the gearbox in the frame is not altered.

Would you kindly send us prints of the modifications which affect Messrs. E.N.V.
