400g? Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hotel de France, Chateauroux, INDRE, France. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/R.21.7.39. We have arranged for the fitter to come out with the necessary steering parts on the Tuesday or Wednesday following Bank Holiday Monday ( August 8th or 9th). He will not have the reduced out-of-centre point bits with him, but all the others. In the meantime, you will doubtless be obtaining as much information as possible on how to make this car go straight. It occurred to me that if you put some of 'Bertha's' wheels and tyres on the 'Corniche' it would be very difficult for it to over-steer. Hardy's experiment of weight on the roof is worth trying.
