Huckerby}27.3.34 re 3½ LITRE BENTLEY - FRONT SPRINGS --------------------------------- We have noticed on several Bentley cars on which we have recently carried out the final complete car test that the buffer spring clearance, i.e. Dimension A.{Mr Adams} on Drg. FB.470, which, according to this drawing, should be 1.250 to 1.750, has come out below the minimum allowed for this dimension, and even although the body weight is not beyond the specification of 7½ cwt. and with only 3 or 4 passengers on board. We suggest that it will either be necessary to increase the minimum limit or to fit slightly stronger springs. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn | ||
