CHASSIS
-------

MYTH.
-----

It is now three months since the last "Chassis" meeting.

As previously pointed out, tank work is absorbing all our capacity. We have, however, completed the design work necessary to get a "Myth" on the road and detail drawings should be available in about a month.

Detail drawings of the frame have been issued for some time and a visit to Park Ward last week confirmed that Ward has made two complete sets of these pieces, which under war time conditions is a very good effort. He is now working on the body panels.

The "Myth" engine is the only part that has been instructed to HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} as yet.

We suggest that another chassis meeting should be held in a month's time, say Monday June 16th, to review the possibility of obtaining a delivery date for the complete car.

If we could get it in August or September, some road work would be possible before the weather deteriorates.

SENIOR RANGE.
-----------

It is hoped that some of the re-designed Senior Range gear-boxes will have been completed in a month's time. Instructions for the aluminium engine, mentioned in the minutes of the last meeting, should be completed by the middle of June. We have had an axle failure after about 70,000 miles, on the 8-cylinder car that has been doing bus work between Belper and Derby, and may suggest that some parts are made to obviate such an occurrence in the hands of customers.

An up-to-date report on development running will be submitted before the next meeting.
