BENTLEY PUBLICITY.

This is to confirm the decision taken to-day to stop work on preparing this car for the 24 run on Montlhery.

The entries for Le Mans have also been cancelled.

The engine for the 24 hour run was actually completed and on the Test Bed. In view of the money expended, we propose to get some information from it on Brooklands before we send the car back to France. In particular, we should like to get some data on the drag of the car, and, also, we want to find some practical means of reducing the oil temperature as this problem will have to be overcome on the Paulin B.V.

We should like to fit a 35-gallon petrol tank to this car, which was a relic of one of the T.T. races, so that if, at any time it was considered desirable to go for the Munich-Berlin run, it could be accomplished on the Paulin car without filling up.
