X6006 Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. EFC. X.6006. RE : DYNAMOS By5/N16.12.30. X.6016. As we must proceed with the manufacture of dynamos for chassis we are producing, after going carefully into the position, I am satisfied that the half charge scheme as at present instructed with the exception that we use a 6" resistance instead of 25" resistance is the best we know. This machine gives us as much current as the special high output machine which was produced for a certain class of customer under the old system, secondly, it gives us a protection for not over charging the dynamo battery, thirdly we can, if we so desire, use the dynamo under the old system, i.e. without resistance at all, but with a 6" resistance I consider we have the best compromise we know of, and that it represents an improvement over the scheme we have just abandoned.
