We note from your Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM{Anthony F. Martindale}21/JH9.6.37 that you are fitting a pair of improved cams to these brakes. We also note you say that 35° cams have just been standardised for the Bentley. On referring to the standardisation sheet in connection with that matter we find it says that 45° cams were standard for the Bentley and 35° cams for the 25/30 R-R.{Sir Henry Royce} Has there been any change in the original decision, please ? The return of standardisation sheets for March specifies Servo improvements to be brought in on "M" series, but there is no "M" series, and no chassis have been instructed for it yet. On the back of the actual standardisation sheet it said that these improvements could be brought in on production at the 1st chassis in "L" series without scrap. Can we please have this position clarified for our records ? Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} -huk | ||
