24th May, 1939.

Dear Sirs,

In thanking you for your letter of the 22nd, we have pleasure in enclosing copies of our drawings showing 7.00-16 Standard and Fort tyres on a 5.00 rim and 7.50-16 Standard and Fort tyres on a 5.50 rim.

The dimension which you mention half way between the edge of the tyre and the widest point of the tyre will be variable dependent on pressure and relevant load.

The drawings provided should be sufficiently accurate for scaling purposes on a free tyre, but if you wish us to carry out any deflection tests at certain loads and pressures, we should be very pleased to do this and give you a record of the tyre profile under such conditions.

Yours faithfully,
FOR DUNLOP RUBBER CO., LTD.

Manager,
Car Manfrs. Division.
