Reply & say he has been offered Reedons Scar for £900 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} S/W (Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}). DH.{D. Henderson - Showroom}5/OP20.12.40. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 200 re. B-24-GA. With further reference to your memo. and to Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}'s reply dated 16.12.40, I note he has not told you what we are asking for B-24-GA. The price of this car, including the new Purchase Tax, is now £1,033, but if your brother-in-law is not prepared to pay quite so much as this, there is a possibility I might be able to get this price reduced by discussing it with C. As Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} has now joined up he has handed this matter over to me to attend to. In the meantime, I will try and see if I can find a 3½-litre Bentley at not quite so much money if the price we are quoting for B-24-GA is considerably more than what your brother-in-law is prepared to give.
