Rolls-Royce Ltd., 15 Conduit Street, London, England. Re: Suggested changes in design - Report No.8. X 3614 X.3720 X.3562 Left Hand Steering. Dear Sir:- We are now the only Manufacturer in the United States constructing a right hand steering cars. Since the Pierce Arrow Co. and the Stutz Co. which were the only surviving examples of right hand steering, have both gone over to left hand steering this year, you will see from this how necessary it is that the change to left hand steering should be one of the first changes under-taken by the American Co. and should occur not later than the next series of cars. If the three speed Gear Box is to be introduced with the central change levers, this change will make the left hand steering even more essential. Yours very truly, Rolls-Royce of America Inc. Per.
