It will be observed that the Bosch distributor has many fits before one comes to the jump spark distributor, and it is impossible to see what the clearance is, this being the same fault as was condemned by the Admiralty experts in connection with the Remy distributor. In consequence, it will be seen that possibly from a technical point of view we are in advance of the Americans, but we have never got into the swing of manufacture that would enable us to adopt sheet metal pressings, bakerlite, and ebonite moulds, and die castings to anything like the same extent.
