Report Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/ACL1/LG4.5.26. can consideration please be given to the question of instructions being issued for some specified oil tests to be taken during engine erection, based on this report,together with instructions for bearings <s>to be fitted</s>. If the oil test shows that over-oiling is likely to result, it would certainly appear after the issue of the Experimental Report above referred to, that we should be altogether in the wrong if we allowed chassis to be delivered with engines which developed overoiling,unless we have taken every advantage of the information now available.
