Re: CUTTER FOR MACHINING BRAKE LININGS
OF 3 1/2 AND 4 1/4 LITRE CHASSIS.

We have now made the cutters (one for the front and one for the rear brakes) from the detailed drawings you kindly sent us and we attach a photograph of the one for the rear brakes.

We tried out the tool yesterday and find that it works quite well.

We were unfortunately not able to complete the two tools at an earlier date owing to extreme pressure of work in our machine shop.

During his recent visit to us, GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} showed is photographs of your "Oil Flow Test" apparatus which looks a very good job. Sr. is writing to By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} about it.
