Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} E4/M18.5.22. X.4250 - GOSHAWK II STARTING SHAFT COVER. We send you herewith drawing No. LeC.1580 showing how Mr. Royce wishes the positioning feature on the starting shaft tube cover to be formed out of the metal of the cover during the stamping process. This will be cheaper than adding the stop separately as a riveted piece. A further small modification is to carry the hole for the button on the cover right through the stamping which is fixed on the front end of the starting shaft tube.
