Upper half - Cracked but no loss of metal. Metal has also spread. Not in a reliable condition.
Lower half - In O.K. condition.

Upper half - Cracked but only very slight loss of metal.
Lower half - Rather badly cracked. Metal ready to break away.

x We were not able to take measurements of N°3 bearing, owing to the very poor condition of the lower half.

At the time we fitted the whitemetal main bearings, they were reamered out to 2.249".

Please find attached our order N°1260 for the centre clutch plate which we asked you to arrange to have dispatched to us.

Please also find attached our report re average speed and oil temperatures recorded, etc..

We should like to fit a high capacity oil pump to this car, but we take it that they cannot yet be supplied.
