TROPIC-AIRE
HOT WATER BUS HEATERS

Front and Rear of Parlor Bus Showing Heaters Installed

Keep Buses Warm In Coldest Weather
"Clean - Safe - Odorless - Dependable"

The NEW Improved Tropic-Aire Bus Heater is designed for all types of motor buses, directly connected to and is a part of the water circulating system, utilizing the water that cools the motor to heat the vehicle. The hot water principle of Tropic-Aire heaters eliminates all possibility of scorching, burning or soiling of clothing.

Tropic-Aire is in no way connected with the exhaust pipe or manifold of the motor. Due to the hot water principle odors of burned oil and gasoline fumes and the deadly carbon-monoxide gases are completely eliminated from the interior of the bus.

Tropic-Aire bus front heaters are mounted inside the vehicle body on the dash, facing the aisle.

In buses of over 28 passenger capacity operating in cold climates, it is recommended to use the rear heater of the same type and construction, mounted under the rear seat of the bus, facing the aisle, as shown in above illustration.

Where front and rear heaters are installed, they may be used individually or together by simply operating the switches mounted on the instrument board in front of the driver.

Buses that are equipped with Tropic-Aire heaters insure all the comforts of modern home heating. And, with this delightful comfort, there is absolute safety.

During the summer months the heater is converted into a ventilating system by disconnecting the water tubes which supply the hot water from the motor to the heating system.

Tropic-Aire bus heaters are now used by many of the largest operators in the country including Public Service Co-ordinated Transport, Newark, N. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.}, Greyhound Lines, Yelloway, Pickwick Stages, Colonial Stages, and others of equal importance.

Their selection of the Tropic-Aire bus heater is conclusive proof of its efficiency.
